Three Novato men were arrested in a child pornography bust involving regional task force investigators.

Curtis Scott, 54, Oscar Argueta-Osorio, 18, and Curtis McCutcheon, 59, were booked into Marin County Jail on allegations of possessing child porn. Bail was set at $10,000 each.

Scott and McCutcheon are registered sex offenders.

The bust happened Thursday at three residences in Novato. Police obtained search warrants based on leads from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Novato police worked with the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to execute the warrants.

There was evidence of child pornography at each residence, police said. Several electronic devices were seized, police said.

There is no indication that the alleged child porn involves any local minors, police said.

Investigators from other agencies participated in the sweep because the Silicon Valley task force draws upon forensics specialists from various local and federal entities. In Thursday’s operation, those entities included the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Department, the Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office, the Department of Homeland Security and the San Francisco Police Department.
