PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION

Sergeants Nick Muyo and Don Brister have developed this learning module with a focus on the community. Parents and educators, alike, will gain knowledge and hands-on experience in the realm of Internet understanding and use. The focus of this ICAC presentation is to provide hands-on experiences and a new understanding of techniques to use in presenting the material to the community.

PRESENTERS BIO
Sgt. Nick Muyo has been a member of the San Jose Police Department for approximately 24 years. His service has included assignments to the Field Training Program, Sexual Assaults Unit, Night Detective Unit and the REACT High Technology Task Force. Sgt. Muyo is an instructor with the California Department of Justice and POST, providing training in the areas of High Technology and Computer Crime, Internet Crime Investigations, and Sources of Information.
 
Sgt. Don Brister has been a member of the San Jose Police Department for approximately 28 years. His service has included assignments to the Field Training Program, Narcotics Unit, Sexual Assault / Child Exploitation Detail and the High Technology Crime Unit. Sgt. Brister is an instructor with the California Department of Justice - Advanced Training Center, providing training in the areas of High Technology and Computer Crime, Internet Crime Investigations, and Computer Evidence Recovery and Analysis.
